There is a specific kind of quietness that only a still life can capture, a pause in time that feels both fleeting and eternal. These roses are more than just a floral study; they are the flowers I imagine would always be blooming in the sunlight of my dream home.

I chose a palette of melancholic, muted tones to wrap them in a veil of nostalgia, as if they were a soft recollection of a room I’ve visited in my thoughts many times. This work is my way of bringing that imagined warmth into the present, honoring the simple beauty of everyday objects that carry the weight of our deepest longings for calm and familiarity.

Framing
Framed in a vintage wooden frame with cold green and silver tones, this piece carries the charm of a found object. Each frame is an antique, and bears the marks of a past life. Some frames have chips, cracks etc adding to the character and story of the piece. It do not affect the integrity of the artwork.
