I’m inspired by nature’s honest forms and the understated beauty that comes with a slow, simple life.

I’m drawn to the quiet details that appear when life slows down—the way the light changes over open fields, the steady sound of river water slipping past stones, the small rhythms you only notice when you’re not rushing anywhere. Those moments stay with me and shape how I move through the world.

They remind me to keep things simple, to stay close to what feels real and grounded. I try to bring that same sense of calm, openness, and curiosity into the way I work and the choices I make each day. It isn’t about chasing anything grand; it’s more about paying attention and letting the environment breathe a little through me.

Hey, I’m Leila.

I’m a self-taught artist and someone who feels most grounded when I’m close to nature. I live in Málaga with my husband, and most days you’ll find me painting in a small corner of our apartment that I turned into a studio. It’s where I spend slow mornings with a cup of coffee, sorting through brushes, watching the light shift over the Mediterranean, and letting ideas settle.

I’ve always loved drawing and anything creative, but it was just a quiet part of my life until a year ago, when I picked up painting for the first time. Something clicked. What started as simple curiosity quickly grew into a passion—and within that same year, I began sharing my work for the first time. It felt both unexpected and deeply right.

My landscapes come from moments that stay with me—calm fields, open skies, water moving steadily, and the quiet in-between spaces that make the world feel gentler.

More than anything, I hope my art gives you a moment to pause. Maybe it brings back a small memory, or simply makes you feel something familiar. Each piece carries a bit of my own story, and if it resonates with yours, that means a lot to me.
