This pigeon is the second part of my exploration with charcoal, a medium that allowed me to find beauty in the most common of city dwellers. While my oils often focus on the dream of the countryside, this study brings a piece of the "now" into the collection.
Frame size: 21.5 x 27.5 cm
Medium: Original charcoal drawing on acid-free A5 paper (14.8 x 21 cm, 180 g/m²)
Finish: Treated with a professional fixative to protect the delicate charcoal particles while maintaining the matte, velvety finish.
Framing: Elegantly housed in a wood frame with gold-leaf finish. Includes an ivory white mat and acrylic glazing.
