The Presence

To me, this creature isn't just an inhabitant of the countryside; it is the personification of a thought that follows me everywhere: my longing for a slower life.

I named it "The Presence" because this animal is a constant in my mind, a compass pointing toward a quiet life I haven't reached yet. In painting this, I was looking for the calm I need to navigate the noise of living in a busy, touristic city like Málaga today. It is a small sanctuary I carry with me, a reminder of the peace I hope to find in those infinite fields.

Framing

Framed in a vintage wooden frame with cold green and silver tones, this piece carries the charm of a found object. Each frame is an antique, and bears the marks of a past life. Some frames have chips, cracks etc adding to the character and story of the piece. It do not affect the integrity of the artwork.
