Like "Horse and Hills," this painting emerged during those first vital months of the series. It was a period of pure discovery—a search for my own brushstrokes, my own palette, and the specific light that defines my dream of the countryside.

In this landscape, I wanted to explore the vibration of a summer afternoon.

This painting was created using oil paints on a cotton canvas.
